DIRECTIONS FOR PASSENGER VEHICLES

From Route 78 Westbound:

Route 78 west to exit 40 (Watchung). At top of ramp, make left onto Hillcrest Ave and proceed to stop sign (a mile or so). Make right onto Valley Rd. You will almost immediately pass a gas station & Weichert Realtors, stay to left and follow traffic circle. Make 2^nd right off circle onto Somerset Ave and follow it south until you intersect Route 22. Make right onto Route 22 West. Exit at West End Avenue (2^nd traffic light) by taking jug handle which crosses Route 22. Proceed to the 3rd traffic light after the railway overpass and make a right onto South 2nd Street. Proceed for about a mile. Papp Iron Works is on the right hand side. (950 South 2nd Street). Enter at the gate.

From Route 78 Eastbound:

Same as above except make right at top of ramp.

From Route 22:

To West End Ave and follow directions from above.

From Route 287:

From Route 287, take exit 5 to Route 529 North (Washington Ave). Take Washington Ave. all the way to Route 28 (East). Turn right onto Route 28 (North Ave). Proceed to Rock Ave. Turn right onto Rock Ave. and pass under the overpass. Turn left onto South 2nd street, proceed past Clinton Ave. Papp Iron Works is a short distance on your left.

From Garden State Parkway and NJ Turnpike:

If coming from points North of Newark Airport, go to Route 78 and follow directions above. If coming from points South of Raritan River, go to Route 287 and follow directions above. If originating in between, go to whichever is closer, Route 78 or Route 287 or consult local maps for secondary roads.

Note: Route 78 is quicker than Route 22.

DIRECTIONS FOR TRUCKS

From Route 78 and 287 South

From Route 78, take exit 29 to Route 287 South. Go South on Route 287 to exit 14A. Take exit 14A to Route 22 East. Take Route 22 East to Washington Ave. (in Green Brook). Turn right onto Washington Ave. towards Dunellen. At the 2nd light, turn left onto North Ave. North Ave. quickly changes to W. Front Street (Route.28). Proceed to Rock Ave. (1st light) Turn right onto Rock Ave. Pass under the RR overpass and make 1st left onto South 2nd Street. Drive past Clinton Ave. (1st light) and you will see the Papp Iron Works sign at the gate on your left.

From Route 287 North

From Route 287 North, take exit 5 to Route 529 North (Washington Ave). Take Washington Ave. all the way to Route 28 (East). Turn right onto Route 28 (North Ave) and proceed Rock Ave. Turn right onto Rock Ave. and pass under the RR overpass. Turn left on South 2nd street and proceed past Clinton Ave.(1st light). Papp Iron Works is a short distance further on your left.
