Papp Iron Works acquires new facility

Papp Iron Works has closed on acquisition of a 3 1/2 acre parcel at 950 So. Second Street in Plainfield. According to Allan Papp, President of Papp Iron Works “this is probably the most exciting event in our firm’s history, we look forward to commencing steel fabrication in our newly acquired 40,000 SF building which will provide us a more modern and efficient facility.” Papp Iron Works intends to move its operations there in the 3rd Quarter of 2002.

Papp Iron Works is a 54 year old steel construction firm specializing in miscellaneous metals for large commercial projects. Papp Iron Works engineers, fabricate and erect their own work and have participated on many of the states largest projects, including the state’s current tallest building (101 Hudson – Jersey City) as well as the NJPAC in Newark, the NJ Statehouse Complex and various casino projects in Atlantic City.
