In
keeping with its tradition of charitable giving, in lieu of purchasing client
gifts, PAPP IRON WORKS has contributed money to organizations dedicated to
assisting those whose lives are not a full as our own. We
have made the following charitable contributions.
Kiddie Keep Well Camp,
located in Edison, NJ has received funding for 50 pairs of sneakers for eligible
children attending 2008’s summer fitness program. The camps mission is to
provide a healthy away from home experience for children of Middlesex County who
are economically, socially and physically at risk. Today over 600 children
between the ages of 6 and 13 attend their summer camp program at no cost.
We provided funding to
HomeFirst, Inc., Located in Plainfield, NJ. Our donation will help support
children’s program including summer camp: overnight and day programs, day care,
and support programs like Families First and Let’s Play. HomeFirst, Inc
children’s programs are to provide low-income children with the opportunities to
attend camp, day care and enrichment classes.
Women Rising, Inc,
located in Jersey City, has been supported with funding to provide a happy
holiday this year for twenty children and their mothers. Women Rising, Inc
provides to women and their families experiencing temporary hardships, to
achieve self-sufficiency and live safe, fulfilling and productive lives.
Supporting America's
military in their time of need, we once again are providing funding to the
Fisher House for 20 families to be close to a loved one at the most
stressful time -- during hospitalization for a combat injury or illness. The
funding we’ve provided allows 7 weeks lodging for 20 families of injured
servicemen at the Womack Army Medical Center located at Ft. Bragg, North
Carolina. Fisher House is non-profit organization that provides “a home away
from home” for families of servicemen receiving medical care at major Military
and VA medical centers throughout the country.
