Papp Iron Works is located less than 1 hour from New York City, in Plainfield, NJ. Our 3 1/2 acre fabrication facility is equipped with overhead cranes, an 18,000 SF fabrication area, 8,000 SF painting area and 6,000 SF office with a in-house detailing department with electronic file transfer capabilities. Papp Iron Works has worked on many of New Jersey's largest projects, ranging from NJ's tallest buildings, 101 Hudson & 30 Hudson Place both in Jersey City, The Taj Mahal, Harrah's & Caesar's Palace Casinos in Atlantic City, the Merck World Headquarters and even the New Jersey Statehouse Capitol complex.

HISTORY

Two brothers, James and Raymond Papp, founded Papp Iron Works, a second generation family business, in 1948. Allan R. Papp took over as President of the business in 1978 and has overseen its growth into New Jersey's leading provider of stairways, railings and other miscellaneous metals for commercial construction projects. During our 60 years of business, we have fabricated and erected steel for over 4,000 projects.
