Papp Iron Works Recognized as
Outstanding Subcontractor by Gilbane.
On May 16th Gilbane
Building Company, One of the Nations largest General
Contracts/Construction Manager’s feted Papp Iron Works along with a
select group of Subcontractors at their Annual Subcontractor Awards
Luncheon held at Raritan Valley County Club. The awardees were
honored for their professionalism, quality workmanship and ability
to meet demanding schedules.
Papp Iron Works
was recognized for their work on
the Novartis Building 405
Office
Renovation Project in
Hanover, NJ. Building 405
was originally a
laboratory facility
that was gut rehabilitated
into an office
building/employee amenity center. Papp Iron
Works
accomplished
the
massive structural alterations to the building to create a
large

story
atrium,
including an
architectural class stairway along with
the glass and stainless steel
ornamental railings fabricated by its
Architectural Metals division. Papp Iron Works also hung
a
significant piece of artwork created by Leon Polk Smith, measuring
approximately 16’ x
18’.
