Papp
Iron Works Receives Prestigious Safety Award From
ASA-NJ
Papp Iron works, a leading miscellaneous metals
construction trade contractor, was recognized by the American
Subcontractors Association of New Jersey for it’s outstanding safety
record as recipient of it’s 2007 safety award. Papp
Iron Works submitted it’s safety data into the competition and because the
company was well below the national industry average for lost time accidents, it
received the coveted safety award at the American Subcontractors
Association of New Jersey’s Awards Dinner.
The award is presented to only 3 ASA-NJ member firms each year.

of Papp Iron Works. “It is gratifying to see that our rigorous safety
program is paying off”.
Papp Iron works, is celebrating it’s
60th
anniversary in 2008 and has worked on many of NJ’s prestigious projects
including the 30 Hudson Street Project in Jersey City, NJ’s Tallest
building, The NJ Performing Arts Center in Newark, the Borgata Casino in
Atlantic City and even the NJ State House Capitol complex in Trenton and
was ranked among the New Jersey/ New York Metropolitan Area’s top 50
contractors by NY Construction News in 2003.
It was also listed by
Engineering News Record in their October 17, 2005 issue as one of the top 600
subcontractors in the Nation in 2005.
